Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using Scoop Route ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Scoop Route on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Scoop Route is a catering dispatch and booking management platform that connects catering businesses with their clients. We provide:
- Online booking forms for catering events
- Quote and invoice management
- Dispatch and scheduling tools
- Operational checklists and reporting
- Wholesale ordering for product sales
3. Accounts
Catering businesses (tenants):
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must provide accurate business information
- Accounts are for one catering business only and may not be shared
Clients:
- By submitting a booking request, you confirm the information provided is accurate
- Booking requests are subject to confirmation by the catering business
4. Payments
- Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe, QuickBooks, or others as configured by the catering business)
- Scoop Route does not store payment card details
- Refund and cancellation policies are set by the individual catering business, not Scoop Route
- Catering businesses are responsible for their own pricing and payment terms
5. Third-Party Integrations
Scoop Route integrates with third-party services including QuickBooks, Google Maps, Stripe, and SendGrid. Your use of these integrations is also subject to their respective terms of service.
QuickBooks Integration
When you connect QuickBooks to Scoop Route:
- You authorize Scoop Route to create and read invoices on your behalf
- You can revoke this access at any time
- Scoop Route's use of QuickBooks APIs is subject to Intuit's API terms of service
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Transmit spam or unsolicited communications
- Reverse engineer or copy the platform
- Use the service to compete with Scoop Route
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
Scoop Route and its content are owned by Scoop Route and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Scoop Route is provided "as is". We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of revenue or profits
- Disputes between catering businesses and clients
- Third-party service outages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Catering businesses may cancel their account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email at least 30 days in advance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
